was not expecting this

I took some zyprexa at about 6pm last night and a half hour later I was sitting at my computer and realized something was very very different. A 1st I could not put my finger on it, then it became clear- the chatter was gone. The noise wasn't there. I could clearly hear myself thinking once again. I hadn't realized how much the noise was bothering me and impacting my thinking until it wasn't there.

I was and am in shock. I wasn't expecting this. I mean I know zyprexa is an atypical antipsychotic and that's what is supposed to do for people like me, but last time I was on the drug it had absolutely no effect on the noise, just forced me to sleep.

Last night I did sleep well too. Took me a little while to fall asleep and woke up for a short while at 2am and 5am, but I fell back to sleep and didn't get up for good until 6:45am. Means I had like nearly 11hrs of sleep. Was very nice. Now I have a little sedation hang over but not bad, not as bad as it could be.

I am still not going to be taking this drug every day. I can't risk the type II diabetes that I risked last time I was on it. We shall see how much benefit I get taking it PRN and if I get any bad side effects.
